Centar za odgoj i obrazovanje is a special education institution for children and youth with great developmental difficulties. Our first aim is to educate and rehabilitate children with mental retardation and additional difficulties.
The basic characteristic of our work is an individual approach to our pupils in our efforts to improve their quality of life and to become independent members of community.

Mental retardation with additional difficulties:
visual impairment, phisical disability, voice and speech disorders, authism
- 28 sections, 2 of which are located in Center for work therapy and rehabilitation «Dr. Antun Bogdan»
- prolonged expert procedure
- special educational procedures
- rehabilitation programs: speech therapy, music therapy, physical therapy . color therapy, computer workshop, kinesitherapy
- enabling for work (age 15 and over)
- creative working activities (age 21 and over)
- school sport club «Lavići» (Lions)
- pupil association «Fijolica»

Radno vrijeme Centra za odgoj i obrazovanje Čakovec sa strankama je od ponedjeljka do petka od 08:30 sati do 13:30 sati.
